Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Cleburne will stop delivering babies after August 30, leaving Johnson County without obstetric care at its main hospital. According to wfaa.com, more than 1,400 people have signed a petition opposing the decision since the hospital announced the change. Residents who rely on the facility for maternity care will need to travel to hospitals in neighboring communities once the services end.
