Cleburne City Secretary Ivy Peterson is now president of the Yellow Rose Chapter of the Texas Municipal Clerks Association, according to the City of Cleburne. The chapter represents municipal clerks and city secretaries from nearly 30 cities across North Texas, including Fort Worth, Burleson, Mansfield, Grand Prairie, and Waxahachie.
The Yellow Rose Chapter is one of the newer chapters within the statewide association. It focuses on professional development, mentorship, and building connections among clerks at all experience levels. Members gather every other month in cities throughout the region.
In her role, Peterson will help guide the chapter's work and represent Cleburne among municipal professionals across the area. City secretaries and clerks handle official records and oversee key administrative functions in local government.
