What the site is

Cleburne Wire is an independent local news and guide site. It is not affiliated with the City of Cleburne, any school district, or any local newspaper. News items are short summaries written with the help of software, and every story links to its original source. Read the source for the full account.

Accuracy and corrections

We work to get things right, but summaries, listings, event times, rates and other information can be incomplete or out of date. Don't rely on the site for emergencies, legal, medical or financial decisions. If something is wrong, tell us at news@cleburnewire.com and we'll correct it.

What you send us

When you send a tip, photo, event, or listing update, you confirm you have the right to share it and let us publish, edit and display it on the site and our social pages. Don't send anything unlawful, private about someone else, or that you don't own.

Business listings

The Guide lists local businesses from public information. Owners can update their own listing for free. Listing a business is not an endorsement.

Sponsorships

Sponsorships are month to month unless stated otherwise, and you can cancel from your Stripe receipt. Paid placements are always labeled. Sponsors never influence news coverage. We don't run political campaign ads, adult content, vaping or payday lending, and we may decline or remove any ad. Billing questions: news@cleburnewire.com.
